Being a mother is an amazing journey filled with lots of dope moments of joy and love. It can also be a challenge when you have a lot to juggle, pushing us to our limits and testing our strengths. Today, I want to share my personal journey and experiences that led me to start living in my “ Soft Mom Era.”

This year has been quite crazy in a good way. A lot of doors of opportunity have opened for me after feeling stuck for about seven years. It’s taken a lot from me to adjust and as every parent knows every week is a different adjustment . Either the kids get sick, work gets busier, you take a vacation … every week is an adjustment and I felt the pressure to be the mom who can do it all.

The societal expectations for mothers are often unrealistic. We’re expected to maintain a spotless home, serve nutritious meals, keep our children’s schedules packed with activities, and somehow also balance our careers and personal lives. It’s an endless cycle of doing, and I got caught on that hamster wheel.

I was physically exhausted, mentally drained, and my emotions were all over the place. I felt like I was losing a piece of myself in the process. That’s when I knew something had to change. It was time to prioritize myself and I started doing so slowly with small daily acts of self-love. It was taking a few moments each day to breathe, read a book, or simply relax with a warm cup of something.

As I started embracing self-care, discovering the beauty of a slower, more intentional lifestyle. Instead of rushing through the days, I slowly started to savor each moment with my family. I slowly started decluttering our lives and made room for what truly mattered. I started focusing on quality over quantity, and it made all the difference when I could.

This is how my “Soft Mom Era” was born. It’s was a call to myself to prioritize my own well-being and happiness. It’s was an invitation to embrace a slower, more intentional lifestyle .

My hope is that by sharing my journey and the birth of my Soft Mom Era ,I can inspire other moms to prioritize self-care and embrace a slower, intentional lifestyle. It’s time to support each other and create a more beautiful and balanced world for both us and our families.

Thank you for joining me on this path of love, self-care, and intentional living. Remember, you’re not alone in this journey. We’ve got this, together. 💕
